An Invitation to Fellow Explorers Worldwide
An Invitation to Fellow Explorers Worldwide
We stand at a new frontier of chemical understanding.
The birth of "Atomics" stems from a fundamental belief: Can we move beyond the traditional manipulation of molecular functional groups to achieve precise "editing" of the very carbon skeletons of matter? This vision, ignited by the discovery of the Carbon Reduction Reaction and the establishment of Carbon-Atom-Level Reconstruction theory, is now within our reach.
From the initial proclamation in Stockholm to the formation of this International Society, we have witnessed the rapid coalescence of a community driven by pure scientific curiosity. This is not merely about a single reaction or publication, but about pioneering a new paradigm—harnessing external fields to redesign how matter is created, at the atomic scale.
The mission of the International Society of Atomics is born from this imperative: to serve as a crucible for ideas, a foundation for collaboration, and a home for explorers worldwide. Here, we will confront challenges together, share insights, and translate the grand vision of "atomic editing" into the scientific reality that defines tomorrow.
I extend my sincere invitation to all scholars who share this dream and courage to join us. Let us write the next thrilling chapter in the dialogue between humanity and the material world, together.
